The Feast of Sacrifice, or Eid al-Adha, is a major Islamic holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world. It honors the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God, who ultimately provided a ram as a substitute.
